We are fortunate to own premises in Manor Gardens, Plymouth. For information on hiring this space, click here.

This large building holds our stores of set, furniture, costumes and props, plus a fully equipped workshop for set construction, office, kitchen and a large rehearsal space where we construct the set for each play ready for early rehearsals. This means rehearsals take place in the actual set and dimensions of the performance space which is a major benefit.

In addition to rehearsals, we use this space for auditions, social events and any other gatherings of members and their guests. The facilities can also be hired for use by others on a regular or one-off basis.

We also hire out costumes, props or furniture from our extensive collection.

If coming from Plymouth city centre (Theatre Royal),

Head east towards the traffic lights at the bottom of Western Approach and continue into Union Street
At the first small roundabout turn right
At the next roundabout turn left
At the next roundabout turn left
You are now in Manor Street. You may also see signs announcing this as the Adelaide Street Home Zone.
Go past the turning for Rendle Street on your left.
Manor Gardens is the next turning on the left after Rendle Street; it is effectively an alley, rather than a proper road. Parking in Manor Gardens is rather limited and so you are probably better parking in Manor Street.
Our building is about 100 metres down Manor Gardens on the right hand side. There are 2 high metal gates (with the name of the theatre company above them) and a side gate next to them.

If coming from Stoke,

Travelling from the main traffic lights in Stoke village, go down Molesworth Road.
At the bottom of Molesworth Road (i.e. at Millbridge), go straight over at the traffic lights.
Continue on, leaving Victoria Park (and the RC cathedral) to your left and the old naval hospital to your right.
At the roundabout, go straight ahead (i.e. take the 2nd exit) which is in the direction of Union Street (although the entrance to Union Street is blocked off).
You are now in Manor Street. You may also see signs announcing this as the Adelaide Street Home Zone.
